COVID-19 Clinic Update

JANUARY 2021: OPEN FOR ROUTINE CARE

To our valued patients:

We hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy and doing your best to fight the spread of COVID-19. We continue to operate during the current provincial lockdown and province-wide state of emergency. All appointments and surgeries will proceed  as scheduled.

CHANGES TO OUR CLINIC

  • We have installed plexiglass at reception for the protection of patients and staff. In addition, all staff are required to wear full PPE at all times

  • In order to maintain physical distancing standards, we will be limiting the number of people in our office. If capacity has been reached, you will be asked to kindly wait outside or in your car and you will be contacted when we are able to safely see you

  • The highest standards of testing equipment disinfection will continue to be implemented. Clinic disinfection of chairs, door handles, countertops etc. will be maximized throughout the day. In addition, all toys and magazines have been removed from the clinic

  • Hand sanitizer will be widely available for patient use

  • We will do our utmost best to ensure all patients feel safe and comfortable during their visit. However, we understand that some may not feel comfortable with an in-office visit. As such, our doctors will remain available for teleconsults (by phone or video). Please CONTACT US if you wish to schedule a teleconsultation

CHANGES TO YOUR UPCOMING APPOINTMENT

  • All patients will be screened at the time of appointment booking and once again upon entering the clinic for their appointment

  • All patients are required to wear a mask to their appointment. Cloth masks are acceptable. Please note, masks with valves will NOT be accepted

  • Please arrive by yourself to your appointment, unless an escort is required (ie parent, caregiver, or translator)

  • In order to minimize wait times, we ask that you please arrive at the scheduled time of your appointment. If you arrive early, please wait inside your car or outside of the building until it is your appointment time. If you are more than 20 minutes late, your appointment will be rescheduled for a later date

  • If you are new to our office, please complete a Patient Registration Form and bring the completed form to your appointment

YFEA thanks you for your continued understanding and patience during this challenging time. If you have any questions or concerns, please CONTACT US at your convenience.

THANK YOU!
